Welcome to Fitness Doctor Personal Training.
My strength training program will enable you to lose those unwanted pounds, gain muscle tone, and improve your overall health and appearance. You will be completely revitalized by my program! My unique approach will help you transform both body and mind. Let's face it, most trainers just watch you exercise. If you want to achieve real, long lasting results, you must do more than exercise your body. You need to exercise your mind as well. With my program, you will change your perceptions and attitude about exercise, fitness, and health. I will not only show you correct physical exercise techniques, I will demonstrate mental exercises as well. I will inspire you to exercise determination and maintain motivation. Breaking bad habits is one of the most challenging things that one can face. Together, we will replace bad habits with good ones. You will develop habits that uplift your spirit and bring you happiness through fitness, good health, and mental clarity.
I will help you set goals and reach them. I don't just show you how to do an exercise; I educate you in the areas of strength training, cardiovascular endurance, and proper nutrition.

Thomas Romaniello
For the past 30 years, Tom has been improving the lives of many dedicated Long Island residents. He is selective about the clients he accepts into his training program. He admits that the client is responsible for achieving the results, and that it takes an enormous about of discipline and determination. But Tom's techniques soften the blow by making workouts fun, challenging, and a bit different each time.
Tom holds a bachelor's degree in Anatomy from Brooklyn College, in NY.
He is certified by ACE the American Council on Exercise where he is recognized as a Certified Strength Trainer and the ACE American Council on Exercise Certified Lifestyle Weight Management Counselor ***
With a Bachelor of Science degree from CUNY Brooklyn College in physical education and exercise science with a minor in biology, Tom built over 25 years of professional experience by specializing in personal training, strength training, group fitness, sports conditioning and he is certified as a lifestyle weight management counselor with the American Council on Exercise Certified Personal Trainer and an American Council on Exercise Certified Lifestyle Weight Management Counselor

in 2009 Tom helped me lose 94 lbs, and 15% body fat. Since 2001 I had severe respiratory illnesses that would leave me ill for months with regular visits to the emergency room. I was even told by a doctor that I would not live past age 50. Since training with Tom and following my trainers directions, I have not been ill longer than a day or two, I have not even had a cold, and I am antibiotic and inhaler free since September 2009. On my 44th Birthday in 2010, Tom & I ran a 5k together, The first time I had EVER run that distance in my entire life!
